it's tough for a CEO to maximize profits when going against govt. They can make profits harder to come by with the stroke of a pen.

Remember this the next time you get upset with a company for doing what government told them to do. Nothing is happening in a vacuum. Government power has grown too large and we've been left with fascism-light instead of free market capitalism.
