because if he's out there again, we need more production at that position with a pretty loaded WR corps.

I always point to what happened at Washington. In 2021, their QB production was very similar to ours and they had a worse defense. They went 4-8. Plug in Michael Penix and his nearly 5K yards passing, and 11-2.
