Drinkwitz recruits well but hasn't had a good to great QB.

Pinkel won games because he had Brad Smith, Chase Daniel, Blaine Gabbert and to a lesser extent James Franklin and Maty Mauk at QB. He was set up with Drew Lock moving forward also.

Larry Smith only won when he had Corby.

Barry Odom only won (a little) when he had Lock.

Simple, really.
