Look where Big 12 leftovers are at now. In football it's a glorified mid major league now without OU and Texas. Those teams will not have schedules to justify winning anything that matters anymore unless they beef up non con schedule.

SEC and B1G are interested in poaching the big boys from the PAC and ACC now. They've taken what they want from the Big 12.
