Looks like I may have gotten bad info and, if so my apologies.
As for Tiger Football, the basic problem is very simple and unfortunately probably not fixable: Tiger football simply isn’t that important in the state’s culture. Translated that’s nobody or at least not enough folks care enough to do the things necessary to have a top program. And I don’t expect that to change.
