getting a bid to the playoffs. If you are in a conference that has a legitimate shot for an at large or CC bid you are part of the process, part of the regular season chase. That is what the season is about and why the fans of the different schools care. TCU even won a game. There have been a ton of blowouts in the whole stupid process at this point. TCU actually almost got in a few years before that as did Baylor.
