govt's war on drugs, the escalation of domestic surveillance and policing over the past few decades, and the Marxists' great desire to control those godsend apparatuses.

Also, as meat points out below, private property rights is a far superior way to address an issue than big govt solutions. I'm not sure why you have so much faith that the govt can actually accomplish the monumental task of limiting drug sales and personal drug use. For that matter, the govt's war on drugs is an objective failure as your post easily demonstrates. Time for new management?
