The thread was about ESPN and Stephen A Hole commenting on political matters rather than sports. I asked if you tune in to ESPN for political commentary and your thoughtful and constructive post responded with,
"NO but he has access to the same information as we do. I realize that you are definitely flawed as a human being, now we all are, but you seem to be totally ruined and the world cannot go on with people like you".
I must admit to being a bit stung by your sharp rebuke, as I am never considered that the world cannot go on because of people like me. A bit harsh, perhaps but I knew you had my best interest in mind when you wrote it.
Your second post in response to my response was even more direct and again while trying to assist me in my posting efforts, I am curious about the meaning of, "We just cannot have it, now if you just shut up and prepare to die we can do it. Just shut your mouth. You are not contributing anything positive anywhere".
Who is "we"? Are you speaking for vast numbers of offended, posters throughout Missouri and elsewhere?
Despite your concern and your touching warnings, I have no intent to either die, or prepare to die, either by my own hand, or yours, if that's what you meant.
I find it interesting that in your opinion, a single poster on a single obscure message board about university of Missouri activities can actually cause the world to stop functioning.
Thank you again for your concern, I will take it to heart and try to improve my postings, so as not to drive you from this platform, because as you have suggested, that could cause the end of the world.
