I would hope by now I don't have to put the disclaimer in every post about player to player equivalency. That was my point in a different way of taking Kobe out. I would be a plum zip fool to try and make any of these players on the team Kobe. Although I wouldn't have made Kobe who he was last year before the start of last season. I was strictly talking body for body and there is 1 more then last year. That's an indisputable fact. That has nothing to do with quality. Kobe's production equivalent (if at all) will have to come from several players on this team. Although Tonje intrigues me.


As for Pierce. Your opinion is he has the greatest potential to be a bust. That may be. I want attempt to debate what someone will do. What I will however take issue with is trying to use the fact that he just sat on the perimeter because that's not true. He was used mainly as a backup post player behind Zayden High. He would drift to the perimeter similar to all the post players in the game today that do so. Yes at times he was also played on the perimeter. What would you do with the best 3 pt shooter (40plus%) on the team?
