So what's the 'solution'?

Well, we ain't talking these people off the ledge, not from the persona of a conservative, or Republican or 'Trump supporter' or even 'common sense folk'.
These people (the libtards) are literally brainwashing themselves 24x7 through the legacy media.
Without that influence, though it may take days/months/years, they would eventually start to realize how incredibly compromised they had become and would start to come out of it.
Therefore I would say a reformation of the legacy media, gradually mixing sanity back into the program, could give these hopeless information addicts a relatively painless path off the hard stuff and back from the ledge.
Without that, significant, consecutive, jarring incidents that reveal the facade of our civilization to be just that, is going to be required. That's a very difficult route though akin somewhat to 'cold turkey' - the withdrawal pains will be brutal.
The third option is to watch these nutbars end civilization entire with a 'recovery' to something like 1776 hundreds of years down the line.
Nothing may seem to be happening right now, but make no mistake, we are in the throes of the end of this latest 'Roman Empire' and should things continue unabated it will end.
