Maricopa County's Own Data Proves 334k Mail-in Ballots Were Not Verified in Nov. Governor’s Count

Arizona Republican Kari Lake has filed a lawsuit in Maricopa County Superior Court challenging the election results that gave Democrat Katie Hobbs the title of governor.

Lake's legal team, led by attorney Kurt Olsen, argued that the signature verification process of mail-in ballots was inadequate.

[redOlsen revealed in the hearing that data from Maricopa County showed that over 334,000 mail-in ballots were not effectively verified due to Level One and Two reviewers not dedicating sufficient time to review the signatures.

The lawyer alleged that over 264,000 signatures were reviewed at a rate of less than three seconds and 70,000 were reviewed at a rate of less than two seconds.

The official count gave Hobbs the victory by 17,000 votes, which is 0.7 percent of the more than 2.5 million ballots cast.

The team is confident that the total number of fraudulent ballots may exceed the 17,000-vote margin that currently separates Lake and Hobbs.

Olsen also stated that eleven signature verification workers approved 170,000 signatures at a rate of between zero and 2.99 seconds with a 99.97 percent approval rating, per the Western Journal.

The Republican candidate’s team claimed that the county was aware of the issue and had a monitoring process in place.

On Monday, her legal team released video footage of two signature reviewers verifying ballots, where one reviewer worked at a deliberate pace while the other seemingly approved ballots almost as fast as they loaded on his computer screen.

Additionally, according to a whistle-blower testifying in the case - the ballot counting for the governor's elections was not afforded the same sense of urgency as the primaries.

The hearing is ongoing, but the court's final decision regarding the election remains unclear. Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson will remain in charge of the lawsuit.
