I really do not think you understand this political situation at all. Your understanding of the Evangelical Christian view of issues needs to adjust. Go to some meetings and discuss it with Evangelicals. Some of Trump's supporters do not like his age. Some do not like his "Wordly behavior", and some like the idea that he is a political outsider. DeSantis is what they call a Rhino. A Bush boy is seen as non-authentic and he is just playing a role. The things about his government style are not democratic at all. He also seems to be a lot more beholden to Israel, which to me is a cult-like thing. Trump always looks at how it is going to benefit me first and the people I am in business with second. I think that we are In a pickle. I may even consider voting for Trump over Biden or not vote at all.
