I don't get not taking the bowls seriously

it needs to be part of NIL. I think losing these bowl games in less than stellar fashion is really uninspiring. What is the difference between a player playing against Vanderbilt in November when we are 5-5 and playing in a bowl game? What does each one "mean"?

I think that has hurt Drinkwitz that last few years. The bowls are important to the mid-tier programs.
