I'm not commenting on what you said about the NYT, because I wasn't there to know (or at least not of an age that I was paying attention). They may well be guilty of what you've described. That being said, it's sad, and reflective of these times, that rather than address the material presented here, your knee jerk reaction is to complain about something the other side did, as if that somehow makes what this side did alright.
