They can control the pairings Thursday and Friday, but not on the weekend as it's based on standings and order of score posting.

Specifically Patrick Reed/Phil with a top 20 PGA guy. Most of the LIV guys playing this weekend are pretty low key, so I doubt there would be any tension.
