work for like $2 million a year if it would really make that much of a difference? Is the ROI for paying Goodell $64 million really that much more than finding some other highly educated lawyer who will work for a fraction of what they are paying him?

But that's true for most all CEOs that are paid crazy. I'm betting there are thousands of tens of thousands of people who could do just as well if given the chance. A lot of getting to that level is just luck or nepotism.
