recently as the early 70's and maybe even later it wasn't unusual for kids in more rural and suburban areas to have guns displayed on racks in their vehicles. and yet there were no mass shootings. you have the Texas incident in the 1960's but other than that it was never a thing.

what changed?

is it the gun or is it our culture that changed...for the worse?
