is another issue but i don't think the rules changes will effect that at all...that's more of a hitting philosophy issue. Gone are the days of making sure you put the ball in play, launch angle and hitting HR's is what gets guys paid.

Perhaps with the rules change about only being able to pick someone off will change baseballs opinion and with increased SB's there will be a bigger emphasis on cutting down on K's to increase OBP.
