I see where a lot of people resented the fact that Antoine Davis of Detroit Mercy almost broke Pete Maravich's MBB Div 1 record for most total points scored in a career. It's because Davis would have done it in five years whereas Maravich set the record in three years.
I remember how hateful baseball fans were toward Roger Maris when he broke Babe Ruth's mlb single season HR record in 1960 because Maris played in a 162 game season whereas Ruth played in only a 154 game season.
So next WBB season Hayley Frank has a chance to break Sophie Cunningham's MU WBB career total points record. Ah but Frank will do it in five seasons while Cunningham had only four seasons.
Will there be outrage on Tigerboaed?!
Who cares.
And for the record, Frank will enter the 2023-24 season 612 points short of Sophie's record.
