My daughter-in-law is going to recieve $25,000 from an annuity & $10,000 from a life insurance policy from her grandfathers death. Does she pay taxes on that? Second question on the annuity. Does her grandfather's annuity stop at his death and paid out, or is there an expiration date like a CD? Thanks in advance.
