A win would have been great because, sadly, it would have given her two postseason wins for the first time in a long time. I think she needed at least to put up a competitive effort against KU. A blowout -- against KU, no less -- may be the last straw. Her buyout may be high, but DRF has shown (by firing the tennis coach in midseason and eating the last year of CM's contract) that she has higher expectations. Her supporters would argue that she supposedly has a good recruiting class coming in, and that she says she's willing to change how she do things. If you agree with the former, then you have to realize that class won't be ready to contribute immediately. And if you agree with the latter, you should be more worried about why she's waited this long to realize what she's been doing isn't working. I don't want to hear that she's going to hit the transfer portal because who would want to go to MU who's any good? I want to hear why the recruiting has been so bad, and what she can do (if anything) to improve it.
