A charity event I go to every year has been ripping off different logos every year for a while. Chiefs, Royals, random companies, etc and switching it up for the event. Sporting is the only team/company to send them a cease and desist.
I get protecting a trademark if someone else is profiting off of it, but this is dumb just like sending a cease and desist to a charity event.
