the pulitzer prize when talking about a reporter's credibility, especially a reporter who's claim to fame was risking his safety and reputation uncovering atrocities committed by the US government and its agents - all the while being proven right despite the lies and smears propagated by the government and its numerous and insatiable goons.
It was especially stupid to bring that up because I didn't take into account my audience's extreme inability to think and assess - as evidenced by their frequent display of stupidity and simple-mindedness as evidenced by frequently determining whether information should be trusted by whether the author's surname sounds Semitic or not.
