by God.
He is so unjust to send them affliction rather than cast them into hell, like all have earned and deserve ("For the wages of sin is death" - Romans 6:23) , that in time they would get to know Him, and be spared the torment of hell forever. He should just execute final justice on everyone, so everyone can go to hell instantly, right?
Romans 9
"
What if God, wanting to show His wrath (my comment - which is completely and thoroughly just and fair) and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?"
Lamentations Chapter 3
