except the biggest BS lie in politics that the GOP peddles is that they are the party of fiscal responsibility. That's been bull**** for decades now.
It was Reagan in fact that really started the deficit spending problem that we now face. Bush I cared about spending. Clinton gave Bush II a balanced budget and Bush II went hog wild. Obama had to spend in large part to fund the ****ing two wars that Bush II started and to bail out the ****tard banks and mortgage companies that almost created a second Great Depression.
Trump was emblematically Republican in that he talked all day about cutting spending and then did everything but that. But no surprise considering he's filed BK four separate times.
Biden is at least finally addressing long overdue spending projects like infrastructure, which everyone else just talked about. He also wants to step up tax cheat enforcement with more IRS agents.
I'd be all for a balanced budget amendment and cuts to Medicare and Social Security. Those programs will be gone if cuts are not made. And I actually would like to see attention in this country paid to people that are actually paying the bills around here and will be for the next 50 years rather than ****ing Baby Boomers.
