I completely agree. In fact, I am steadily losing interest in the FBS. FCS is really just much better from a fan standpoint. The players aren't transferring out to your opponent, the games are usually much less expensive to go to and the playoffs are legitimate playoffs.

I live near Springfield and did my undergrad at Missouri State. The Bears football team has sucked for years and made a resurgence under Petrino (who knows if that will continue) but, honestly, it is just much more fun from a fan standpoint to follow them and the FCS than Mizzou and FBS.

I would love for FBS to be set up the way FCS is and maybe the expanded playoff will help that somewhat but they have got to get this NIL and player portal stuff resolved. Otherwise, what is really the difference between FBS and the NFL?
