1. Drink designs and calls overly complex plays with high probabilities of negative yardage when a simple play to move the chains will do. We turn more 2nd and 2s into 3rd and 8s than any program I can think of.
2. Drink has managed to design a passing game in which receivers are required to be moving back to the line of scrimmage or at best moving laterally - only backs are ever moving toward the LOS or downfield (and only marginally) when receiving passes.
3. Brady Cook is incapable of reading anything in a reasonable time - every completion he makes is either a) the first read on a 30 yard throw to the far side of the field at the LOS or b) from a scramble/improvisation (which contributes to 2 above)
4. This team is consistently guilty of self-inflicted mental mistakes which put the offense behind the chains and kills drives, often at the start. false starts, unexpected snaps, bad snaps (can anyone snap to the QB's chest and not knees?), the punt fiasco by LBIII, you name it, this team will **** it up - the basics.
5. Last but not least, when did MIZZOU BECOME WYOMING with the friggin' yellow and super dark brown color scheme.
This program has no identity and the unis are emblematic of it. Why are we Yellow and not gold, and can we pick a fvcking gold and pick a fvcking black for that matter?
That game sucked. Badly.
