And if anybody thinks that the 2015 narrative that painted Mizzou as the Ferguson PD hasn’t helped the losing, thus crushing attendance and ratings the last several years, I think you are naive as hell. That great social movement event helped alienate both whites and blacks. I do think it is fading but it’s still out there helped along recently by some chick from IL that is a leading conservative activist in the MU student body, posting some pretty horrendous comments which don’t exactly help move past the perception of MU as loaded with racists.
