please explain how having a rival like ku has benefited our football program. It hasn't. Now if we had a powerful coach who could pick and choose when we played them (to make sure there is zero chance they win the game), perhaps that would make sense.
In a football conference, there is zero to gain (for Mizzou) by playing ku. The landscape has changed (as with the portal, NIL, etc). We owe them nothing, and we continue to try & give up all of our cache for their hapless program.
