the price increases last year we would have finished with -5% profit. As a result 2021 we finished profitable but lower than most years.
They praised the commercial team for getting most price increases through over the past two years and said we'd have had to cut employees and stock/production if we didn't
That would have been crazy to have to cut people and extend lead times (wip inventory) further during record sales years, but it would have had to happen to keep from going under.
