Good night for SEC VB teams...

Georgia beat 8 seed Towson yesterday 3-1 in a toss up game (think an 8/9 seed matchup in the NCAA basketball tourney), then lost today to 1 seed Texas 3-0 as expected.
In another toss up, Tennessee lost today to 8 seed Purdue, 3-2 in a first round match after giving up a 2 sets to 1 lead. Still, they played about as well as they can.
The other 5 SEC are still in it.
3 seed Kentucky beat 6 seed Western Kentucky 3-0 to advance to the Sweet 16. Easier than I expected.
3 seed Florida whipped Florida AM 3-0, will play 6 seed Iowa St tomorrow for a spot in the Sweet 16.
6 seed Arkansas beat Utah St 3-0, will play 3 seed Oregon tomorrow for a spot in the Sweet 16.
Auburn pulled the upset of the tournament (so far), beating 4 seed Creighton 3-2. Think of that like a 13 seed upsetting a 4 seed in basketball. They play 5 seed Houston tomorrow for an improbable spot in the Sweet 16.
And LSU beat 8 seed Hawaii 3-1, to earn a match with 1 seed Stanford tomorrow that will end their season.
Good showing so far, surpassing my expectations. Kentucky into the Sweet 16 already, and 3 more teams with decent shots tomorrow in Florida, Arkansas and Auburn. 4 teams in the Sweet 16 would be truly remarkable this year, even 3 would be overachieving.
