Are food shortages beginning? Last week we couldn't add

clam strips to our WalMart pickup order. I think there were a couple other items, but I was hungry for fried clams. This week we couldn't buy lettuce of any kind. It seems every time we put in a large pickup order at Wally World there are several items that are simply unavailable. We supplement our grocery supplies at locally owned grocery stores and the Dollar General stores in a couple of small towns nearby. I can't recall a time when so many food items are out of stock.
