First, I never wanted a GOP congress to come in and retaliate with impeachment or other silly activities that waste time and resources and lead to nothing. Even a one vote majority will allow for some locked government and that isn't a bad thing.
Kevin McCarthy is being questioned for being so wrong. I can't say I don't like him, but something about him has always bothered me. I don't mind seeing his leadership questioned.
Even after the huge Newt revolution of 1994, the GOP only held 230 seats in the House. They may not be much below that which is plenty if they do their job right, and that goes back to my first point. Don't be petty and retaliate. Try to make a positive difference.
And finally, the DeSantis strong emergence is a good development. We will see where it goes from here.
