it is that, despite all of our close/crazy/flukey losses, the only difference between our record and KU's are the OT sessions vs WVU and Auburn.
If KU had lost that OT session against WVU, they're 5-4.
If MU had won that OT session against Auburn, they're 5-4.
And remember what it took for MU to lose that OT... Mevis missing a chip shot for the win, and Peat inexplicably dropping the ball right before he crossed the goal line.
The best win and best performance between either team, go to MU for its road W over South Carolina, and near-win over Georgia. We've been competitive in *every* SEC game so far, and would probably be 6-0 with an average QB (or fair officiating... or anything but the worst luck imaginable).
