Can cheat just a little and win, and control the Senate. I don't think they're stupid enough… Although they are corrupt enough, to think they can actually win the house or the senate.
But just a little bit of cheating in just the right places can make all the difference.
If they're smart, and they are in a very devious way, they will cheat in favor of the Republican in a race that is destined to be won by the Republicans anyway. They can then point to that race and say, "both sides do it". And they will pretend to be outraged that anyone would cheat in an election. It's like Jussie Smollett counting votes.
Whenever socialists say, "both sides do it", they are doing it in an enormous way.
Murder and shoplifting are both against the law despite what Pinkel and his boyfriend want. But to say that a R shoplifter and a D murderer are both criminals so both sides have criminals… Only really stupid people buy that one.
