and the Republican counterpart on the panel was tying himself up in knots to justify supporting Herschel Walker after previously having said "abortion is murder" when castigating Dem candidates. The obvious comment became, so you support someone who paid for a murder?

It's the problem with folks who use talking points to win positions without having actual convictions beyond winning the position.
