I 100% enjoy that Putin is getting stonewalled and having issues. I have no love for Putin, but I understand the motivation of not wanting the Ukraine to become part of NATO.
We can split hairs but we invaded Vietnam, Afgan. and Iraq
simply for control of the Global power structure and wealth. We basically control countries or their leaders that at times we installed by covert measures or support by other means. In doing so we clearly are a invading and controlling empire which is self serving and I'm OK with that because it often benefits people in those regions and benefits the American people.
My issue is that no doubt the level of involvement is going to continue to escalate in the Ukraine this is not a hill we should be willing to die on I think this administration has vastly underestimated what Putin and his cronies will do..... they have no issues with going the distance. I 100% don't believe that Putin plans on invading Poland etc. if so then that is the Hill to take a stand on but not the Ukraine.
This will move toward boots on the Ground because Putin will not stop unless we try to covertly remove him by various Empire building means...which would be a wise choice and save lives.
I understand taking a hardcore line with China over Taiwan they provide us with a lot of tech that we need and the world needs, the Ukraine is of little value .
