Since I got part of the marriott vacation club, the various clubs pages are pretty helpful in telling you what is going on, local stuff, etc.

But it is amazing how many people out there that think they should be treated like kings. I am platinum and the front desk guy did not recognize me. Or I did not get upgraded to the best suite.

And these are probably well to do people that can well afford stuff, but want other people to be their servants and crap.

It is quite sad how grown men can be
