He's missed on every qb recruit,(Horn TBD), yet a terrific coach like Pinkel, for a decade and a half, outside the first season always had a guy quite capable of running his offense.

Could it be Pinkel made judgements on the talents of qb's based on, oh I don't know, some real actual knowledge of what it takes to be successful? Nah, it was probably all just dumb luck.
