Maybe we should have tried that with Hitler. Just talk to him, have lunch, meet the family and talk about the virtues of peace.

Maybe we should've tried that with the Kaiser in World War I, with the north in the Civil War, with King George in 1776 and with Julius Caesar and Alexander the great.
