if not fully open, take the southern loop around town on 470. if you have plenty of time, like agriculture and small towns, jump on rt24 there and drive through the countryside to manhattan. i70 west of topeka gives the best flint hills views.

manhattan and university streets around bill snyder family stadium are all open now. but arriving plenty early is always smart.
