the former offensive coordinator, courtney messingham, was canned after k-state inexplicably lost at texas last year. collin klein replaced him and will run a similar but more complex offensive system. the biggest difference in this year's team will be offensive tempo.

and for what it's worth, k-state's two corners, julius brents and echo boye-doe, are considered strengths, while the safety position is a weakness. so, it will be instructive early on to follow how missouri's strong receiving corps plays-off against state's man and zone coverage.
