mad because we started making more money than them.

We made more money because we were better and got better tv ratings/exposure.

That happened because we had a sizeable fan base.

The difference is that their fan base is delusional and has few entertainment options. Our fan base has many options and has been beaten down for 2 generations and waits for the next nut kick.
