and I disagree he was a "miss"

He was the SEC Freshman of the Year in 2020. He just had some injuries and seemed to lose interest. The coach that recruited him got fired and when things got difficult, he probably had one foot out the door.

If he was a recruiting miss, then a lot of people missed (assuming these offers are relatively accurate)
