It may or may not involve hate.
If hate is present, the genesis of that hate is irrelevant.
Once you cross the dotted line over into thought crime, every single time the left will use that to eventually kill millions.
Problem is cancelling is very attractive to leftists as the first steps towards laws like 'hate crime'.
You can always estimate the life span of a civilization by it's establishment and handling of 'hate crime'...
