maybe it toughens you up, gets you sharper on your debate points - maybe it's just an incredible waste of time.
Mentally ill people are actually spiritually ill people on a long long long multi-life decline.
Where they are going, they're going - the idea that anything can be learned from talking to them or, even more novel, that anything can be done for them by talking to them, is a radical and as yet unproven concept.
Fishing on the other hand, has proven itself again and again, as a legitimate salve for the soul...
