Yeah, his "position" is it wouldn't be a problem if the act was conducted on private property where the property owner sets the rules. But since it's on "public" property, the public is free to use it as it sees fit.
I look back to his defense of the graffiti artists who spray painted a bluff overlooking the Jacks Fork River. pickle defended their actions vehmently because what they had done was on public property. He finally ran away and shut the fvck up when I pointed out the property was owned by the Leo F. Drey Conservation group who had an agreement with the National Park Service to maintain their land abutting the river in a pristine and undeveloped state through a scenic easement agreement.
pickle's philosophy is complete and utter bullsh*t. And he takes his views just to be a confrontational jackass.
