And some who were in that camp - are still confused - stating that Horn won't start in 2022 (and the odds are against him as a true freshman, but there have been more than a few true freshmen who have started at QB at schools such as Georgia - Jake Fromm almost won it all as a true freshman starting QB - and USC - Matt Barkley if memory serves me correctly - and I'm not counting him out) - but also thinking Horn will go to baseball after his freshman year at Mizzou if he doesn't start.
That's not the way MLB works. You either commit to play in MLB after your senior year in high school - or you have to wait (if you attend a four-year college) until after your junior year in college.
I look for Horn to be under center for the start of the 2023 season - and while I'm not guaranteeing anything (bluesox showed how foolish that is), I would not be surprised if the kid is starting at some point in 2022 as a true frosh - either to start the season or later in the season. Not a guarantee but I wouldn't be surprised.
