To shut down the meeting and intimidate the event's teachers/sponsors into backing out of any future involvement.
The principle didn't even *acknowledge* the violence & intimidation in the letter he sent to parents, because he's a coward.
Unfortunately, society is full of weaklings like this who allow – and even enable – these left wing activists to behave this way, instead of standing up and putting them in their place.
Until that happens, they have no reason to stop doing it.
