give any solutions at all if you aren't buy and hold. That requires predicting the market, which isn't easy of course, but he didn't even say you should predict when the market is going to fall and get out. Which then requires predicting when its going to rise for awhile.
And his only real advice for investing is to "navigating the entire market cycle.." is the most senseless bit of investing advice I have ever heard.
